Devonsquare 'Bye Bye Route 66' 1991 Atlantic

INFO: This album is being sold through me by another seller.  Devonsquare is a female/male fronted band who have a devout following. They have mainly traversed a Folk path with a smattering of Pop/Rock sensibilities here and there throughout their back-catalogue. However, with ‘Bye Bye Route 66’ they surprised many fans by going that extra distance into territory associated with Melodic Rock and AOR. Released in 1992, the album spawned the singles ‘If You Could See Me Now’* and ‘Bye Bye Route 66’. The album would receive rave reviews on the radio and in the printed media, along with a nomination for Best New Act at the ’92 Boston Music Awards.

*‘If You Could See Me Now’ is a track that when I first heard it (and I know this applies to many other people) thought it was Fleetwood Mac or at the least Stevie Nicks because it is so uncannily reminiscent of both artists work – and is an absolute corker of a track. This is no one trick pony though. The album is chock full of delightful Melodic Rock with the added variety of a male/female vocal combination. Very highly recommended. (GF)

CONDITION: Booklet is in a good condition / Tray Liner is in an excellent condition / CD does have some marks etc but playback is in no way hampered (plays perfect)
